“Can’t I Sin a Little?”

We all know what it is like to presume upon God’s grace. In a moment of weakness, because of the indwelling sin that still lingers in our hearts, we step into sin because we’re convinced God will forgive us on the other side. However, as Christians, we don’t make a habit of sinning—every time we sin, we not only repent, but we grow in spiritual maturity. As many other Christians have said, we are not sinless but we do sin less. And the reason is as profound as it is simple: because we are united to Christ in his death and his resurrection.
