“Whose Sins Are Covered?”

After explaining that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, Paul addresses the question on the mind of every faithful Jew reading through the book of Romans, “What about Abraham and the sign of circumcision?” Paul teaches that God made Abraham the spiritual father of all who would trust in Christ. Abraham’s example shows that God has always planned for his people to have circumcised hearts so that they may follow him by faith alone.
