We are one family, partnering with parents to show the next generation the way of Christ.

Children are a gift from God! Attend any service at Mount Vernon, and you’ll see how much we love children. God calls parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children, and we desire to partner with them in that task. Through our ministries, we seek to intentionally speak the Word of God into the lives of our children so they might hear and respond to the good news of King Jesus, who died and rose to save sinners.

Youth Special Events

Youth have monthly Saturday night fellowships. Game & A Good Word takes place the last Sunday night of each month. We also hold an annual retreat each winter and plan service projects and other special events throughout the year. Each summer, we take our high schoolers to the D3 Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

Children with Special Needs

We believe every child is uniquely created by God in his image. Our goal is to welcome all children with special needs and provide them with a safe environment to play and worship Jesus. We seek to include children with special needs in classes and activities with their peers and create a space where they experience belonging.
