On Pilgrimage—Where?

As Christians, we are on a pilgrimage to Mount Zion—God’s heavenly Kingdom, which will be consummated on the Day of the Lord. For now, we ought to “walk in the light of the Lord” in hope, for we know that the Day of the Lord will bring forth the promises of God. However, Isaiah also shows the readers that they must live humbly in light of their sinfulness, for he who rules the earth will come again to judge the earth.
