We are brothers and sisters in Christ called to share one another’s joys and sorrows. One of the ways we do this is in our Sunday evening service. This hour-long service begins at 6:00 pm. Below is a brief description of the service.
After we have sung for about 10-15 minutes, we spend the bulk of our time praying. Some of the things we regularly pray for are points from the morning sermon, some specific health needs, evangelistic opportunities and relationships, the work of a particular ministry, church leaders, and more.
After our time of prayer, a man in the church, usually a lay member, will give a 15 minute devotional on a particular text related to the morning sermon. These devotionals are weighted more toward application. We then conclude the service with a brief song. Similar to Sunday morning, you’ll find people lingering for fellowship.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper once a month.
