Our recreation ministry exist as a means to meet and share the gospel with members of the Sandy Springs community. In a diverse city like Atlanta, many people will not darken the door of a church building to listen to a sermon or partake in Bible study. But many will participate in a sports league whether it is at a YMCA or on the campus of a church. We encourage and equip members to be bold faithful evangelists as the coach, play, or just hang out and watch.

Mount Vernon has a basketball court and lighted ball field. We use these facilities to host basketball, softball, and flag football leagues for adults and children.
