We believe that the local church recognizes, calls, and helps train the next generation of pastors, missionaries, and men and women who will give their life full-time in service to Christ's kingdom. Thus, Mount Vernon is committed to the discipling and training of the next generation. We do this by 1-on-1 discipling and providing leadership opportunities with intentional feedback. We also do this by helping fund the formal eduction of people who believe to be called by God into full-time ministry and had that calling affirmed by the congregation.
