We are committed to SENDING one another into the Atlanta Metro area equipped to share the gospel. Our local evangelism is not a program but a people, a culture of personal evangelism. We seek to equip members to be faithful and bold to share the gospel in whatever context. We desire to make bold evangelists in the workplace, neighborhood, home, and community. Evangelists are simply who we we seek to be and how we seek to live as Christians.
Below are some of the ways we train members in evangelism and some of the local ministries we support by giving of our time, energy, and finances.
We periodically host an all day conference as an extended time of teaching and training about the need, responsibility, and practical how-to’s of evangelism.
We regularly offer a six-week Bible study on the life of Jesus through the gospel of Mark. This is a great course for anyone (Christian or non-Christian) looking to know more about Jesus of Nazareth. CLICK HERE to learn more.
Two Ways to Live
Personally sharing the gospel with a non-Christian can be intimating, especially when we feel ill prepared. We often teach a biblical and easily memorable approach to sharing the gospel to help members be better equipped. CLICK HERE to learn more.

The Mission and their after-school program, which is the heartbeat of the SSM, is housed on Mount Vernon's campus. Learn more...
