Good living is coupled with good thinking.
The head and the heart are connected. Peter said to add knowledge to our faith. Why? So that we can live effective and productive lives (2 Peter 1:8). One pastor put it this way: "Thinking is one of the most hazardous things we do...but the use of our mind is absolutely necessary for being human and worshipful. So do this dangerous thing, but do it well (because) our head and heart must be connected to have God-honoring action and long-lasting satisfaction."
