Ministry Leaders at Mount Vernon are to be servants of the church coordinating different ministries of the church. They are here to help mobilize and train members to be actively involved in the church's ministries.

Below is a list of the current ministry teams and their respective leaders:

Decorating

Oversees all aspects of decorating the church, such as furniture and seasonal decorations, in order to make guests feel welcome when they enter the building.

Library

Oversees the Mount Vernon Library which provides various Christian media materials in the form of books, DVD's, audio books, biblical resource materials, and a wide assortment of Bible Studies.

Ministry Leader: Darcelle Reid

Preschool

Oversees and coordinates all the details associated with Preschool, including organizing volunteers, setting schedules, and other administrative responsibilities.

Ministry Leader: Pam Hutchins

Wedding

Oversees all aspects of weddings that take place at Mount Vernon, organizing volunteers who will be present to serve the wedding party and directory on the day of a wedding.

Ministry Leader: Lesley Wetherington

Women

Oversees all things in church life related to women: meals for new mothers, baby showers, covenant and community groups, retreats, and more.
